Reschedule or Unassignment Scenarios
The ranked appointment-booked work orders are rescheduled or unassigned in the following scenarios.

What can you do?
The working hours of the currently scheduled technician are updated so that the selected arrival window for the work order is now outside the technician's working hours.
Appointment-booked work order is rescheduled, to an available technician.
No action is required.
The currently scheduled technician for the work order becomes unavailable and the other technicians do not have the capacity or the needed hard constraints.
Appointment-booked work order is unassigned.
Book this work order on the Ranked Appointment Booking page for a different slot.
You update the scheduling-related fields of an appointment-booked work order.
The work order is considered as a normal work order. The appointment booking details are cleared from the work order. The following updates are done for the work order:
The Promised Arrival Window (GMT) field is cleared.
The appointment-booked slot is no longer honored.
If you still want the work order to be appointment-booked, book the appointment slot again after updating the work order fields.
OR
Let the Schedule Optimization engine schedule the work order as normal.
The fixed first event (anchor pillar) in the technician route overlaps with the appointment-booked work order.
Appointment-booked work order is unassigned.
The RAB work order is rescheduled to another technician if available.
If other technicians are unavailable, the RAB work order is unassigned.
Book this work order for a different slot.
A fixed event (pillar) in the technician route overlaps with the appointment-booked work order.
Appointment-booked work order is retained.
The RAB work order is rescheduled if another technician is available.
If no technician is available to reschedule, the fixed event is rejected and the RAB work order is retained.
No action is required.
