Defining Business Hours for Territories
Ensure that you adhere to the following guidelines when defining the territory business hours.

Start time of the territory business hours

It should be the same or earlier than the technician starting at the earliest hour of the day in the territory.

End time of the territory business hours

It should be the same or later than the technician ending at the late hour of the day in the territory.

Example:
The following are the technicians and their respective working hours in the territory:
• Mark: 8 AM - 3 PM IST
• Tina: 10 AM - 5 PM IST
• John: 12 PM - 7 PM IST
In this example, the ideal business hours for the territory are 8 AM to 7 PM IST. You can define the start time before 8 AM and the end time after 7 PM, but it should not be later than 8 AM and earlier than 7 PM respectively.

• As a best practice, ensure that territory and technician time zone is the same.
• If territory and technician time zones are different, the SET052 setting value impacts the time zone validation.
