What's Enhanced
Search for people using user property values
Feature Overview
People search now supports user property values. Administrators select which user properties are searchable. Search results return users whose property values match the entered terms, helping users find people without relying only on names.
User Impact
Administrators can enable or disable search for each user property in the Admin Console. End users can search for people using property values in the message composer, people directory, and add-to-group flows across web, desktop, and mobile. Search matches property values only, not property labels, and matching values appear in the results. For more information, see Searching for Users by Properties.
Customize branding for Guest Connect Flow
Feature Overview
The Guest Connect landing page now supports custom branding. A configurable title and logo replace the default page title when external users open a guest link in a web browser.
User Impact
Administrators configure branding from the Admin Console under Guest Connect Links by setting a page title and uploading a logo. The title replaces the default text and must be defined. The logo is optional. External users who join through a guest link see the configured title and logo on the landing page before entering a session. For more information, see Customizing the Guest Connect Landing Screen.
Remove multiple users from the organization in one action
Feature Overview
The Users screen now supports bulk removal of users. Administrators can select multiple users and remove them from the organization using the bulk actions menu, with a confirmation step before the action is completed.
User Impact
Administrators can select multiple users, including pending and verified users, and remove them in a single step. A confirmation dialog appears before removal, and a success message displays after completion. The remove action is available only to Organization Administrators and is disabled when the selection includes the signed-in administrator. For more information, see Removing Users From Organizations.
User interface language settings for Zinc application
Feature Overview
The Zinc application now supports a configurable interface language. Users can choose to follow the system language or select from supported languages. This setting is available on web, desktop, and mobile, and applies only to the device or app where it is configured and does not sync across devices.
User Impact
Users can change the application language from the Settings section. The interface updates immediately after selection. The default option follows the system or browser language. Users can override this setting and choose a different language for the application without changing device or system settings. For more information, see Setting the Zinc UI Language.
Support remote user log-out through identity provider
Feature Overview
Zinc now supports remote user log-out through an identity provider. This allows the identity provider to end a user’s Zinc session and helps maintain consistent session control across systems.
User Impact
Users may be signed out of Zinc when their organization ends their session from the identity provider. Users who sign out of Zinc may also be signed out of other connected applications, based on their organization's configuration. For more information, see SAML Single Logout.
Open Zinc conversation deep links directly in Go
Feature Overview
Zinc conversation deep links now open directly in the embedded Zinc experience within the Go App. This lets users access conversations without switching to another app or browser. The app follows the same deep link behavior as the standalone Zinc app to ensure consistent navigation.
User Impact
Users can tap a Zinc conversation link and open it in Go when embedded Zinc is enabled. This reduces app switching and helps users complete tasks faster. If embedded Zinc is not enabled, links open in the standalone Zinc application if available, or in the web browser. For more information, see Using Conversation Deep Links.
