Deleting Child Records
Android and iOS
You can delete child records that are added from the Create New screen or using an SFM Edit Process. You must have the required permission to delete a child record.
To delete a child record:
1. Swipe right to left anywhere on the child line to display the Remove button.
2. Tap the Remove button to delete the record. A confirmation message Remove line item from section? is displayed.
3. Click Remove to confirm the deletion and tap Save.

You cannot delete the parent record from the ServiceMax Go app. It can be deleted from the server. You must have the required permission to delete a parent record.
Windows
You can delete child records that are added from the Create New screen or using an SFM Edit Process. You must have the required permission to delete a child record.
To delete a child record in extended edit window:
1. Open a record.
2. Go to the child line section.
3. Click the pencil icon on the line item to open the extended edit window.
4. Click the Delete icon from the bottom left corner of the window.A confirmation message is displayed.
5. Click Remove Line to confirm the deletion.
To delete a child record in grid view:
1. Right-click the line item.
2. Select Remove to delete the record. A confirmation message is displayed.
3. Click Remove to confirm the deletion.
