Creating Records
Android and iOS
The Create New screen lists all SFM transactions of type Standalone Create, and is used for creating new records, optionally with child records.
Key Points to Remember:
The Create New screen lists all the Standalone Create SFM processes sorted alphabetically in ascending order.
The administrator has to provide device-level permission for the Create SFM processes to be available on the technician's mobile device.
Device-level permission should be given from ServiceMax Setup > Mobile & Offline > SFM Mobile Permissions.
Windows
The Create New screen is used for creating new header and child records. It lists all SFM transactions of type Standalone Create. The icon on the top right corner of the app is used to create a new record. This icon is anchored on the top, allowing you to create a new record from any screen of the app like Calendar, Explore, Recents, View SFM, and Settings screens.
1. Click icon on the top right corner of the screen to open Create New window.The list of Create SFMs along with the description is displayed.
2. Click Create New.
3. Click any SFM to create a new record locally.
