Scheduled Data Sync

If scheduled data sync is configured by your administrator on the Mobile Configuration screen, the app automatically synchronizes data at regular intervals when a network connection is available, without the need for any action on your part.

The minimum interval for scheduled data sync on ServiceMax Go App is 30 minutes. If the interval is configured to a value of fewer than 30 minutes, the scheduled data sync occurs every 30 minutes.
The ServiceMax Go App attempts to run scheduled data sync when the app is in the background or when the device is locked. Due to Operating System updates that are intended to preserve battery, the Operating System may put the Go app in a suspended state from which the scheduled sync is not permitted to run. When scheduled sync is not triggered due to this scenario, it runs immediately when the user brings the app to the foreground. Background scheduled sync has improved reliability when the device is connected to a power source.
The ServiceMax Go App attempts to run scheduled data sync when the app is in the background or when the device is locked, only if there is no local data. If there is local data, the app does not allow the scheduled data sync to run. When scheduled sync is not triggered due to this scenario, a message Data sync was skipped. Perform a data sync to get the latest changes is displayed when the user brings the app to the foreground.

If scheduled data sync is configured by your administrator on the Mobile Configuration screen, the app automatically synchronizes data at regular intervals when a network connection is available, without the need for any action on your part.
Following is the behavior of the Scheduled Sync:
The minimum interval for scheduled data sync on ServiceMax Go for Windows is 30 minutes.
If the interval is configured to a value lesser than 30 minutes, the scheduled data sync will occur every 30 minutes.
