Refresh and Sync Option
Android and iOS
The functional behavior of the Refresh operation are:
Perform pull-down to refresh to update only child-level nodes. To refresh parent or grandparent or above nodes, you need to navigate to those respective levels.
The Overview tab brings the latest update of the current record, its Technical Attributes, and Files. If any unsynced changes exist for that record, then the changes are auto merged to no loss of data. The changes are synced to the server in the next Data Sync.
If a child record is deleted in an IB tree while performing Pull to Refresh, that child record is deleted from the app if there are no unsynced changes on that record. If there are unsynced changes, then a message is displayed asking you to perform Data Sync. In this case, the IB tree is not refreshed.
If all child records in an IB tree are deleted while performing Pull to Refresh, then you are navigated up one level.
When you have navigated to the child node and added the top-level location node, the IB tree is not refreshed even if you perform pull down to refresh in the IB tree.
