Prerequisites for Mobile Timesheets
Before using the Mobile Timesheet feature, ensure to take care of the following steps.
You are acquainted with the Timesheet feature and how it works on the server.
You have configured the Timesheet Engine and it is working. The Work Order-related time entries are synced successfully on the mobile device, only if the Timesheet engine is working as expected.
You have enabled the Timesheet feature on your Salesforce org.
Key Points to Note
The Mobile Timesheet feature is applicable to iOS devices, Android Phones/Tablets, and Windows laptops/ Tablets.
Mobile Timesheet currently supports Weekly timesheets. Bi-monthly and Monthly timesheets are not supported for this release.
The week view for mobile timesheets displays the week starting with Sunday and ending with Saturday.
You must run the ServiceMax Configurator to set up mobile timesheet-related configuration settings. For more information, see Running ServiceMax Configurator.
You must close and re-launch the app after you enable the mobile timesheet-related configuration settings and for the Timesheet navigation tab to be available on the Calendar UI.
You must close and relaunch the ServiceMax Go app when adding or modifying Timesheet configuration settings or switching users.
You must perform Initial Sync when modifying Timesheet configuration settings SET001 to SET006.
