Add Part Product Picker Search Modes and Sort Options
Search Modes
The product picker provides type-ahead search that matches against both Product Name and Product Code. Tap the filter icon next to the search field to select a search mode.
Search mode
Behavior
Contains
Returns products whose name or code contains the search term anywhere in the value. This is the default mode.
Exact Match
Returns products whose name or code matches the search term exactly.
Starts With
Returns products whose name or code begins with the search term.
Ends With
Returns products whose name or code ends with the search term.
Sort Options

Ascending (A-Z) or Descending (Z-A)
Product Code
Ascending (A-Z) or Descending (Z-A)
The default sort order is by most recently modified (descending). Selecting a sort option overrides the default for the current session.
Display and selection behavior

Description
Maximum results
The product picker displays up to 200 products per query. Products beyond this limit are not shown.
Displayed fields
Each product row shows Product Name and Product Code.
Selection mode
Single-select only. You can select one product at a time. Tapping a second product deselects the first.
Data source
The picker queries online by default and merges results with locally cached product data from the most recent sync.
