SFM Custom Actions
SFM Custom Actions are URL-based actions that can be launched for a record from the Actions menu. They are of three types namely, Web Service, URL, and App-to-App. These actions are configured as SFM Wizard steps and are displayed under the Actions menu. Tap on the related Actions menu item associated with your configured Custom Action SFM Wizard step to launch it.
The SFM custom action has the ability to combine the static text and dynamic field values in URL and App-to-App Parameters. SFM custom action allows configuring second-level reference fields (up to 10 reference fields) as parameters in all the three types of custom actions (Web Services, URL, App-to-App). Check if the ‘Parameter Value Type’= Field Source.
Example: If the custom action is configured in a work order, apart from the Work order you can also fetch values from its related Case, Location, etc.
