Scope of Deletion
Events, Related Records, and Advanced Download Criteria Records and Checklist Records
Following are a few scenarios where the Data Purge is applicable:
Events that are outside the event window are defined in Mobile Configuration by your ServiceMax administrator.
Records related to purged events (refers to events outside the event window, as per the previous point), along with their child records and any attachments/ Salesforce Files, if one of the following conditions is met:
The related record objects and/or their child objects are not included in Download Criteria.
The related records and/or their child records no longer meet the download criteria, and their last modified time is older than the limit (non-event window option) configured by your ServiceMax administrator.
Advanced Download Criteria object records related to the deleted events if their Last modified time is older than the non-event window data configuration.
Checklists that are associated with parent records that meet the purge criteria.
Data purge is restricted in the following scenarios:
Price Book, Price Book Entry records, Service Pricebook, and Service Pricebook Entry records are not included in Data Purge.
Inventory records that are part of Download Criteria are excluded from being purged. All other inventory records which are not part of Download Criteria are purged.
When the Enable Mobile Inventory setting is set to False, the Parts navigation tab is not visible, but the product records still exist in the database. You need to perform Purge Data Now to remove the product records from the database.
