Creating Request for Technician Visit
You can create a request for a technician visit that requires a repair, installation, regular maintenance, or remote assistance.

If the setting Asset is Mandatory is enabled by the administrator, you must select an asset or assets to proceed with the request.
To create a Technician Visit request:
1. Tap Submit a Request in the Overview screen. The Request Type screen is displayed.
2. Tap Technician Visit.
3. Tap Next. The Technician Visit screen is displayed.
4. Select a service type.
5. Tap Next. Select Asset(s) screen is displayed. A list of locations is displayed in the Location tab and a list of assets is displayed in the Asset tab.
6. Tap the filter option to select one of the following options.
All (Default selection)
Recently Viewed
Selected
Tagged
Near Me
7. Click Apply to apply the selected filter. The filter is applicable to both tabs for this request.

You can tap the search bar to search for the location in the location tab. The filter options are also displayed.
8. Tap a location to select from the Location tab or select an asset or multiple assets from the Asset tab.

9. Tap Next.
10. The Technician Visit screen is displayed based on the service type and the type of request.

11. Enter the details for the Problem Description. The description provides additional information about the service, and the request is not mandatory.
12. Tap Upload to add the images. When you upload an image, an annotation icon is displayed on the image.
Use the annotation tool to:
Crop the captured photo.
Draw lines/curves.
Add text.

You can select the color for drawing or adding text. The annotated photo can be uploaded.​ When the image is annotated and added to the customer request, a copy containing the annotation is added to the customer request. The original image without annotation is saved on the device.
13. Tap Contact to change the details.
14. Tap Add an alternate contact.
15. Enter the following details.
First Name
Last Name
Phone
Email
16. Tap Next.
17. Enter location details in Any specific service location? screen.
18. Add details in the Instructions for the Technician field/
19. Tap Next.
20. Choose upto three dates and time slots as preference. This is optional.
21. Answer the additional questions if configured.
22. Review the details entered.
23. Tap Submit Request.
