Opportunity Delivery Method
The Opportunity Delivery Method generates an Opportunity record for the FCO result line and associates the Installed Product from the FCO Line as an Opportunity Product on that Opportunity record. Such Opportunities can be used by the sales team to pursue upsells and renewals on aging products.
Prerequisite
To generate opportunities, the Change Order record should have an active Pricebook, and the Pricebook record should have active and valid Pricebook Entries. The following screen displays the FCO Details screen with the Pricebook lookup field.
Before you run the FCO search results to utilize Opportunity as an output delivery method, you must do the following.
1. Go to ServiceMax Setup > Installed Base, Preventive Maintenance, and Field Change Order > FCO Template. The FCO Templates landing page is displayed.
2. Click New FCO Template or edit an existing FCO template.
3. Configure the following mapping in the Properties tab.

4. Click Save to save your changes.
To run the FCO Search results with the Opportunity Delivery Method:
1. On the FCO Search screen, update the Delivery Method manually and choose the option
Opportunity. For more information, see
Updating the Delivery Method. The following screen displays the FCO search results.
2. After the FCO Search results are run, the Opportunity and associated Opportunity Product records are created. The following screen displays a sample Opportunity record.
