Managing Translations
Translations of the following Salesforce entities can be managed using Salesforce Translation Workbench and Salesforce Setup option Create Custom Labels. Out-of-the-box translations for these in the languages supported by ServiceMax are bundled with the ServiceMax package.
• Object labels and Name field labels
• Custom field labels, related list labels for lookup fields, and custom field help text*
• Picklist fieldvalues
• Record Type labels
• Button and link labels
• Page layout section titles*
• Custom report type names and layout sections
• Validation rule messages
• Custom labels
* Out-of-the-box translations are not provided by ServiceMax for custom Page Layout section titles and for custom field help text.

Translation of ServiceMax strings configured in configuration screens such as SFM Designer, SFM Wizard Designer, Inventory Process Configuration screen, and SFM Search Designer come under Advanced ServiceMax Configuration, and are managed using the ServiceMax configuration screen Manage Translations.
