Major Areas in Dispatch Console
The major areas in the Dispatch Console are:
1. Work Order Grid: allows dispatchers to view the relevant work orders and facilitate actions such as Search for Teams/Technicians based on Work Order attributes, Assign, and Unassign work orders.
2. Service Team/Territory Tree View: displays the list of Technicians managed by the dispatcher, grouped by Service Teams or Territories.
3. Scheduler: allows dispatchers to schedule work orders on technician’s calendars effectively. It helps identify work orders and locate the most appropriate technicians by matching work orders and technicians’ attributes.
4. Map: provides a visual representation of work orders and technicians which enables the dispatcher to schedule work orders with more ease. It also plots the technician’s daily route on the map.
5. Status bar: displays appropriate status/error messages, depending on the action performed in Dispatch Console.
