Interactive Entitlement
The logic which is followed in the Interactive Entitlement is as follows:
If Covered Product is qualified based on validity dates, ServiceMax checks whether an SLA is associated with the Covered Product. Then SLA associated with the Covered Product is considered. If it does not have an SLA, the system considers the SLA at the Contract Header Level. If the Covered Product is not qualified based on validity dates, then ServiceMax checks whether the Covered Location is qualified based on validity dates. If it is qualified, the system checks whether it has an associated SLA, then, the system will consider the SLA associated with the covered location, else it considers the SLA at the contract header level. If Covered Product and Location is not qualified based on validity dates, ServiceMax does not consider the contract as matched.
*
If the Start Date or End Date in a Covered Product or Covered Location is blank, both the Start and End Dates from the contract header are considered to check whether the Covered Product or Covered Location is qualified. The check for Covered Location is skipped if the 'Match Location' is not enabled. You can configure to include Parent, Top-Level, or Child IB or Product, Product Line, or Product Family as Covered Product.
