Highlighting Work Hours and Holidays
The working hours of all the technicians listed in the Tree are highlighted in the Scheduler area, if group configuration setting SET072 is True (By default, this setting is set to False). This enables the dispatcher to easily distinguish when a technician is available and when he is not.
When group configuration setting SET072 is set to True, Dispatch Console shows the technician’s working hours and holidays based on the business hours configured as Working Hours for the technicians on the launch of Dispatch Console. If Working Hours is not configured for a technician, then the business hours configured as Working Hours for the Service Territory that the technician belongs to are used. If Working Hours are not configured for the Service Territory, then the Company’s default business hours are used.
The technicians working hours and holidays are displayed in different colors in Scheduler. The default working hours color is light grey and default holiday color is dark grey, and these colors can be configured from Configure Technician View > Events Tab.
Holidays configured as Full Day (All Day) in the business hours are only displayed in the Scheduler. Partial Holidays are not displayed.
*
Holiday Name defined in the business hours is not displayed in the Scheduler. All holidays are highlighted with the label Holiday.
Weekends or any non-working days defined in business hours are considered as non-working hours and are not displayed in the Scheduler.
When you change the start/end dates using the calendar controls and click Refresh button manually (Or automatic refresh), the latest working hours and holiday lists are highlighted in the Scheduler.
When you zoom out, scroll the time window by dragging the Scheduler, or click Project View, the Scheduler does not fetch latest working hours and holidays.
When you change time zone, the selected time zone is applied to the working hours and holidays highlighted in the Scheduler.
When group configuration setting SET072 is set to false, Scheduler shows Saturdays and Sundays as the default holidays and are shaded in light grey color.
