Deleting Products from a Service/Maintenance Contract
You can delete a covered product from a Service/Maintenance Contract if it is no longer applicable.
To delete a covered product from Service/Maintenance Contract:
1. From App Launcher, search for and select Service/Maintenance Contract.
2. In the Contract Name/Number column, select the contract name.
3. Select the Related tab.
4. In the Covered Products section, select the Action menu next to the covered product, and then select Delete.

The Delete Covered Product confirmation window is displayed.
5. Alternatively, in the selected Service/Maintenance Contract page, navigate to the Details tab, click Coverages SFM, select the products to delete in the Covered Products tab, and then click Delete.

The Covered Products confirmation window is displayed with the exact number of covered products selected for deletion.
6. Click Delete to confirm.
The selected covered product(s) are removed from the contract.
To ensure that contract details are automatically cleared from an Installed Product when a covered product is deleted, the global setting GBL014 must be set to True.
Once this setting is enabled, deleting a covered product will automatically remove its associated contract information such as Service Contract Name, Service Contract Line, Contract Start Date, and Contract End Date from the Installed Product. This ensures that outdated contract data is not displayed.
