Creating Usage Lines From Estimates
After completing the Work Order, you can create usage lines from estimates to record the actual consumption that includes parts used, labor hours, travel time, and other expenses. This reduces manual data entry, minimizes data inconsistencies, and helps technicians complete documentation more efficiently.
To create Usage Lines:
1. From the Home page, open a Work Order record.
2. Click Create Usage From Estimate. All estimate lines in the Work Order are copied as usage lines.
3. Under Lines, review the Parts, Labor, Expenses, and Travel lines added from the estimates, and modify based on your requirements.
4. Click Save.
