Creating Custom PM Process
To create a custom PM process:
1. Go to ServiceMax Setup > Installed Base, PM & FCO > PM Process. The Preventive Maintenance Process screen is displayed.
2. In the Custom Preventive Maintenance Process section, click New.
3. Select the Process Type to specify whether it is Time-Based Preventive Maintenance or Condition-Based Preventive Maintenance. The Setup Preventive Maintenance Process page is displayed.
4. Enter details in the following tabs:
5. Click Quick Save to save the process and keep the process open. Click Save and Close to save and close the process.

Note: The Time-Based PM logs are optimized to include only valid schedule information. It reduces PM process time tremendously.
