Covered Work Plans
Covered Work Plans define the individual work plans that are included in a Service Contract. These represent the services covered under the customer’s agreement. Each covered work plan inherits details such as units, quantities, pricing, and coverage terms from the Service Plan used to create the contract. You can also add additional covered Work Plans directly to the Service Contract when needed.
When a Service Contract is created from a Service Plan that includes Work Plan Offerings, the corresponding Covered Work Plans are automatically generated. These covered work plans ensure that the service contract accurately reflects the service delivery and billing configurations defined in the service plan. For more information, see
Adding Work Plan Offering.
Users can also manually add, edit, or delete covered work plans within a service or maintenance contract to align with customer-specific requirements.
Covered Work Plans ensure that service delivery, entitlement validation, and billing remain consistent with the predefined terms, coverage, and pricing defined in the service plan.
