Configuring SPM Metric Setup page for Single or Multiple MTBF
The Metric Definition tab includes the option - Define how many entries must be maintained per Installed Product in this metric to drive the data generation for the MTBF metric on each SPM engine run.
The options available for defining the metric selection are as follows:
• Multiple MTBF
• Single MTBF
The default value is set to Multiple MTBF. When metric value is Multiple MTBF, a single entry is created for every installed product on every SPM engine run.
When the metric is set to Single MTBF, a single entry is created for every installed product and the same record is updated on every SPM engine run.

• This configuration cannot be changed once the metric is saved.
• At any time you delete an existing metric definition, ensure you purge the metric data before generating the reports.
