Creating a Service Task
You can create service tasks as per your requirements. The service tasks you create may or may not be associated with any work order. You can create service tasks for yourself and also for other users in the service teams.
To create a service task:
1. Launch the Service Task list view.
2. Click Add Task in the Action menu.
The New Task view is displayed.
3. Create the service task in the same way as you create the task for a work order, or a work plan associated with a work order. For more information, see
Adding a Service Task to Work Order.
| You can add a service task to a work order by selecting work order in the Work Order (Optional) field. The service task gets listed under the General Tasks section on the work order record. |
4. Click Save to save the service task.
