Setting Maintenance Plan Process Assignment Rules
The assignment rules define how the work orders generated by running the maintenance plan process should be assigned ownership. You can set the assignment rule to assign work orders to one of the following:
• User: Selecting User in the Assign WO to field enables the maintenance plan process to assign the ownership of the work orders to an individual user. You can search and select the user in the User field.
• Queue: Selecting Queue in the Assign WO to field enables the maintenance plan process to assign the ownership of the work orders to a queue. You can search and select the queue in the Queue field.
• Configurable User Field: Selecting the Configurable User Field in the Assign WO to field enables the maintenance plan process to assign the ownership of the work orders to a user field located on one of the following objects - Account, Asset, or A360 Maintenance Plan. You can select the user field in the Assign WO to field.
