FAQ for SFS Mobile Configurations
This section lists the frequently asked questions about the SFS mobile app configurations:
1. What will happen if the seeded default configuration is deleted from the Admin Setup screen?
There is no impact.
The seeded default configuration is a sample or reference for admins to create configurations. You can mark any mobile configuration as the default one.
It is seeded to enable SFS users to access A360 components on the first time login when no other mobile configurations are marked as default.
If the SFS user has no user or profile-specific configurations, then the user cannot access the A360 components.
For more information, refer to Mobile Configurations.
2. Is there an option to notify users about any change in the configuration options?
No, there is no such option to notify a user on the configuration change. The user can notice the changes when they re-login to the SFS app.
3. Is the seeded default configuration already assigned to any user or profile?
No, the seeded default configuration does not have any user or profile assignments. For more information on assigning a configuration to a user or profile, refer to Profile Selection on General Tab.
4. How will the user know if there is no access to a component?
The user won’t see any option to launch the A360 components from Quick Actions.
If an action configured on the object’s page layout is not removed, then the user can see the option in Quick Actions, but gets an error when accessing it.
For more information on assigning a configuration to a user or profile, refer to Profile Selection on General Tab
