The Maintenance Plan Template (MPT) feature provides supplemental functionality to the existing Maintenance Plan objects in Salesforce to create templates for the plan details and frequencies for scalable reuse. In addition, the MPT allows users to quickly create Maintenance Plans for one or more assets with minimal clicks.

MPT is configurable for Work Order generation, Service Appointment generation, applied Work Type, and Batch Automation.
