Defining Applicable Product for Maintenance Plan Template
This section provides information about defining the applicable product for the Maintenance Plan Template to determine which assets can be associated with a Maintenance Plan (MP) based on certain Product or Product Family criteria.
By defining the applicable product for the MPT, you can achieve the following:
• Drive future automation for creating MPs with only specific assets assigned as maintenance assets.
• Allow users to specify which work rules are for products or product families.
|
• There are no limits on the number of applicable products that can be added to the MPT.
• Applicable products can either be defined for Product or for Product Family. The applicable product line with product populated or with product family populated is saved as separate child lines.
|
