Creation
To create an Activity (System):
• From an Architectural Description or Service Description: right-click the Architectural Description or Service Description, point to New, point to DoDAF, point to System, and then click Activity (System).
• From an Organization Type: right-click the Organization Type, point to New, point to DoDAF, and then click Activity (System)
• From a CV-6 Capability to Operational Activity Mapping, SV-4 Systems Functionality Hierarchy, or SV-5 Function to Operational Activity/Service Function Definition: click the Activity (System) button, and then click in free space on the diagram.

• Activity Performed by Performer relationships link an Activity (System) to elements that can perform the Activity (System).
• Activity Maps To Capability relationships link an Activity (System) to the Capability elements that are mapped to.
• An Activity Action (System) invokes an Activity (System).
• An Operation (System) message represents an Activity (System) on an SV-10c Systems Event-Trace Description.
