Increment (dictionary item)
An increment is a sub-set of a model that delivers part of a complete application. Models are divided into increments to provide early benefit to the user and to reduce risks involved in large models.
You can create an increment through the context menu of a Package: right-click the Package, and select > > > .
| If you select the Proprietary\Increments folder in the Dictionary pane, the Contents pane displays the following information about each Increment in the model: Expected Delivery Date and Actual Delivery Date. |
In the Modeler panes, a short-cut symbol
on the Increment's icon indicates that the item is a
stub.
The following sections provide information about how an Increment is used in the model. For more information about a property, item, model part or diagram, click it.
