A Service Sequential State is a proprietary element that is required to model UPDM in Modeler.
Creation
To create a Service Sequential State:
• From a
Service State Machine or Service Sequential State: right-click the element, point to New, point to NAF, and then click Service Sequential State.
• From an
NSOV-4b Service State Model: click the Service Sequential State toolbar button, and then click in free space on the diagram or within a Service Sequential State.
The following relationships are of importance to a Service Sequential State:
• UML Transitions link a Service Sequential State to other State Diagram elements (NSOV-4b Service State Model).
• Service Function elements can be invoked by a Service Concurrent State: right-click the Service Concurrent State, point to Links, and then click Do Service Function.
• Service Operation elements can be invoked by a Service Concurrent State: right-click the Service Concurrent State, point to Links, and then click Do Service Operation.
• Service State Machine elements can be invoked by a Service Concurrent State: right-click the Service Concurrent State, point to Links, and then click Do Service State Machine
