Project milestone role (UPDM - NAF aliases)
Creation
To create a Project Milestone Role:
From a Project Type: right-click the Project Type, point to New, point to NAF, and then click Project Milestone Role
On the Select Type dialog, create or select the Project Milestone that is the classifier for the Project Milestone Role.
From an NPV-3 Project Type Definition: click the Composite Association toolbar button, click the owning Project Type, and then click the Project Milestone element that is the type of the Project Milestone Role.
From an NPV-3 Project Type Definition: click the Project Milestone Role toolbar button, and then click the owning Project Type.
On the Select Type dialog, create or select the Project Milestone that is the type for the Project Milestone Role.
Appearance
When shown on an NPV-3 Project Type Definition, a Project Milestone Role appears as follows:

When you create a Project Milestone Role through the Project Milestone Role toolbar button, the Project Milestone Role is created as a UML Attribute, rather than a UML Role, and it cannot be shown on the diagram as a Composite Association.
