Exhibits (UPDM - MODAF aliases)
Creation
To create an Exhibits:
• From an OV-2 Operational Node Definition, OV-4 Typical Organizational Relationships Chart, StV-1 Enterprise Vision, SV-1 Resource Definition or SV-5 Function to Operational Activity/Service Function Definition: click the Exhibits toolbar button, click the source element, and then click the exhibited Capability.
◦ On an OV-2 Operational Node Definition, the source element can be a Node, Logical Architecture, or Security Domain.
◦ On an OV-4 Typical Organizational Relationships Chart, the source element can be an Organization, Post or Role Type.
◦ On an StV-1 Enterprise Vision, the source element can be an Enterprise Phase or Whole Life Enterprise
◦ On an SV-1 Resource Definition, the source element can be a Capability Configuration, Organization, Physical Architecture, Post, Resource Artifact, Role Type, Service Access or Software element.
◦ On an SV-5 Function to Operational Activity/Service Function Definition, the source element can be a Capability Configuration, Node, Organization, Physical Architecture, Post, Resource Artifact, Role Type, Service Access or Software element.
• From a source element: right-click the source element, point to Links, point to Strategic, and then click Exhibited Capability. On the Links Editor dialog, select the destination Capability elements.
The source element can be a Capability Configuration, Enterprise Phase, Logical Architecture, Node, Organization, Physical Architecture, Post, Post, Resource Artifact, Role Type, Role Type, Security Domain, Service Access, Software or Whole Life Enterprise.
• From a Capability: right-click the Capability, point to Links, point to Strategic, and then click Exhibiting Element. On the Links Editor dialog, select the source elements.
Appearance
When shown on an OV-2 Operational Node Definition, OV-2 Operational Node Definition, StV-1 Enterprise Vision, SV-1 Resource Definition or SV-5 Function to Operational Activity/Service Function Definition, an Exhibits element appears as follows:
An SV-5 Function to Operational Activity/Service Function Traceability Matrix shows how elements are related through Implements relationships.

• Link an Exhibits to Environment Property elements that apply: right-click the Exhibits, point to Links, and then click Environmental Condition.
