Enterprise phase (UPDM - MODAF aliases)
Creation
To create an Enterprise Phase:
• From an Architectural Description or Service Description: right-click the Architectural Description or Service Description, point to New, point to MODAF, point to Strategic, and then click Enterprise Phase.
• From an StV-1 Enterprise Vision: click the Enterprise Phase toolbar button, and then click in free space on the diagram.
You can convert an Enterprise Phase to a Whole Life Enterprise: right click the Enterprise Phase, point to Convert To, and then click Whole Life Enterprise.
Appearance
When shown on an StV-1 Enterprise Vision, an Enterprise Phase appears as follows:
Relationships
The following relationships are of importance to an Enterprise Phase:
• Can own and be used as a type for Structural Part and Temporal Part elements.
• Exhibits relationships link an Enterprise Phase to an exhibited Capability.
