Creation
To create an OV-4 Actual Organizational Relationships Chart:
Right-click the Architectural Description or Service Description that is to own the OV-4 Actual Organizational Relationships Chart, point to New, point to Diagram, point to DoDAF, and then click OV-4 Actual Organizational Relationships Chart.
Purpose
On an OV-4 Actual Organizational Relationships Chart:
Create Organization, Individual Person and Individual Person Role elements.
Create Fills Post relationships.
Create UML Slots for Organization and Individual Person Role elements through Link relationships.

Fills Post
To create a Fills Post: click the Fills Post toolbar button, click the Individual Person that fills the Individual Person Role, and then click the filled Individual Person Role.
Individual Person
To create an Individual Person:
Click the Individual Person toolbar button, and then click in free space on the diagram. From the Select Type dialog, create or select the Person Type element that is the classifier of the Individual Person.
From an appropriate Modeler pane, locate the Person Type element that you want to use as the classifier of the Individual Person, and then drag that Person Type to free space on the diagram.
Use Fills Post relationships to link the Individual Person to Individual Person Role elements that are filled by that Individual Person.
Individual Person Role
To create an Individual Person Role:
Click the Individual Person Role toolbar button, and then click in free space on the diagram. From the Select Type dialog, create or select the Person Role Type element that is the classifier of the Individual Person Role.
From an appropriate Modeler pane, locate the Person Role Type element that you want to use as the classifier of the Individual Person Role, and then drag that Person Role Type to free space on the diagram.
Use Fills Post relationships to link the Individual Person Role to Individual Person elements that fill that Individual Person Role.
Link (UML item)
To create a Link: click the Link toolbar button, click the source Organization or Individual Person Role, and then click destination Organization or Individual Person Role element.
When you create a Link, Modeler creates a slot on the source Organization or Individual Person Role.
You can create a link between Organization and Individual Person Role elements only when their classifiers are related through a Resource Role.
Organization
To create an Organization:
Click the Organization toolbar button, and then click in free space on the diagram. From the Select Type dialog, create or select the Organization Type element that is the classifier of the Organization.
From an appropriate Modeler pane, locate the Organization Type element that you want to use as the classifier of the Organization, and then drag that Organization Type to free space on the diagram.
Organization Relationship
To create an Organization Relationship: click the Organization Relationship toolbar button, click the source Organization, and then click the target Organization or Individual Person Role.
