Activity maps to capability (UPDM - DoDAF aliases)
Creation
To create an Activity Maps To Capability:
• From an Activity (System), Activity (Project), Activity (Operational) or Standard Activity (Operational): right-click the mapping element, point to Links, point to Capability, and then click Mapped Capability. From the Links Editor, select the Capability elements that are mapped to.
• From a PV-2 Project Activity Hierarchy: click the Activity Maps To Capability toolbar button, click the mapping Activity (Project), and then click the Capability that is mapped to.
• From an OV-5 Operational Activity Decomposition Tree: click the Activity Maps To Capability toolbar button, click the mapping Activity (Operational) or Standard Activity (Operational), and then click the Capability that is mapped to.
• From a CV-6 Capability to Operational Activity Mapping: click the Activity Maps To Capability toolbar button, click the mapping Activity (System), Activity (Operational), Standard Activity (Operational) or Activity (Project), and then click the Capability that is mapped to.
• From an SV-4 Systems Functionality Hierarchy: click the Activity Maps To Capability toolbar button, click the mapping Activity (System), and then click the Capability that is mapped to.
• From a Capability: right-click the Activity (Project), point to Links, point to Capability, and then click Mapped Activity. From the Links Editor, select the Activity (System), Activity (Project), Activity (Operational) or Standard Activity (Operational) elements that map to the Capability.

When shown on a PV-2 Project Activity Hierarchy, OV-5 Operational Activity Decomposition Tree, CV-6 Capability to Operational Activity Mapping or SV-4 Systems Functionality Hierarchy, an Activity Maps To Capability appears as follows:
