• From a Performer (Operational) or Security Domain: right-click the element, point to Links, point to All, and then click Performs. From the Links Editor dialog, select the performed Activity (Operational) or Standard Activity (Operational).
• From an
OV-5 Operational Activity Decomposition Tree: click the Activity Performed by Performer toolbar button, click the Performer (Operational) or Security Domain, and then click the performed Activity (Operational) or Standard Activity (Operational).
Note that moving an Activity Action (Operational) to an Activity Partition (Operational) creates an Activity Performed by Performer relationship, and moving an Activity Action (Operational) from an Activity Partition (Operational) deletes the Activity Performed by Performer relationship.
• From a Performer (System), Organization Type, System Context, Person Role Type, System, Responsibility or Service Access: right-click the element, point to Links, point to All, and then click Performs. From the Links Editor dialog, select the performed Activity (System).
The source element can be a Performer (System), Organization Type, System Context, Person Role Type, System, Responsibility or Service Access.
• From an
SV-4 Systems Functionality Description: create an
Activity Partition (System) that uses the Performer (System), Organization Type, System Context, Person Role Type, System, Responsibility or Service Access as its type, and then within the Activity Partition (System) create an
Activity Action (System) that uses the performed Activity (System) as its type.
Note that moving an Activity Action (System) to an Activity Partition (System) creates an Activity Performed by Performer relationship, and moving an Activity Action (System) from an Activity Partition (System) deletes the Activity Performed by Performer relationship.
• From a Service Interface: right-click the Service Interface, point to Links, point to All, and then click Performs. From the Links Editor dialog, select the performed Activity (Service).
• From an
SOV-5 Service Functionality: click the Activity Performed by Performer toolbar button, click the Service Interface, and then click the performed Activity (Service).
An
AV-5 Capable Performer Matrix is useful for viewing elements that are linked to each other through Activity Performed by Performer relationships in a matrix.
