1. Ensure that you have built the SySim model execution application.
How?
2. If you want to simulate the State Diagrams in your model while running the SySim model execution, start the simulation listener and within 30 seconds start the SySim model execution.
To start simulation listener: on the State Simulation toolbar, click the Run State Machine button.
3. In Windows Explorer, locate the built SySim model execution application file. The location and name of the built SySim model execution application is as follows:
c. From Simulink, select the window that was opened for the Simulink shell model.
Note that the name of the Simulink shell model matches the name of the SySim Simulator's part that uses the SySim Control Block that references the Simulink model.
d. In the Simulink toolbar text box that specifies the duration of the Simulink simulation, specify the required time period for the Simulink shell simulation.
e. On the Simulink toolbar, click the Start Simulation button.
After clicking the Start Simulation button, the status bar of the Simulink displays Running. However, the Simulink simulation timer does not start until the Simulation Start/Resume button or Simulation Suspend button is pressed on the SySim model execution application.
After starting the SySim model execution and if applicable the Simulink shell simulation, you can interact with the model execution using the SySim Control Bar and the other controls you have added to the Visual Basic form.
