To work with SySim, Microsoft Visual Basic must be set up to auto populate toolboxes and to detect when files are changed outside the environment.
Note that when you place controls on the generated Visual Basic form, SySim (ACS) reverse engineers the content and design of the form to the model so that next time the SySim Simulation Scenario is generated the layout of the form is generated as well.
To set up Microsoft Visual Studio to work with SySim:
1. From Microsoft Visual Studio, on the Tools menu, click Options.
2. In the left pane, select the Windows Forms Designer entry.
3. In the right pane, expand the Toolbox entry, and then set the AutoToolboxPopulate value to True.
4. In the left pane, expand the Environment entry, and then select the Documents entry.
If the Documents entry is not available, select the Show All Settings check box.
5. In the right pane, select the Detect When File is Changed Outside the Environment and Auto-load Changes, if Saved check boxes.
6. Click OK.
After setting up Microsoft Visual Studio to work with SySim, you can generate the Visual Studio project for the SySim model execution. See Generating the Visual Studio project for the SySim model execution
