Ensuring constraint parameters are exported to a Simulink model (Integration for MATLAB Simulink)
If you want to export the Constraint Parameters that appear on a Parametric Diagram, those Constraint Parameters must appear on the first Parametric Diagram that is owned by their Constraint Property's type. Tell me more...
To ensure that a constraint parameter is exported:
1. Open the Parametric Diagram that you want to export.
2. Open the Property Pages of the Constraint Property that shows the Constraint Parameter.
3. Click the Data Type tab, and then click the Properties button.
The Property Pages are now showing the properties of the Constraint Block that is the Constraint Property's type.
4. Right-click the background of the Property Pages, point to Find, and then click In Package Browser.
5. In the Package Browser, expand the Constraint Block.
6. If there is a child Parametric Diagram, open that Parametric Diagram.
If there are many child Parametric Diagrams, open the first Parametric Diagram.
If there are no child Parametric Diagrams, create a child Parametric Diagram - right-click the Constraint Block, point to New, point to SysML, and then click Parametric Diagram.
7. On the child Parametric Diagram, right-click the diagram background, point to Populate, point to Nodes, and then click Constraint Parameters.
When you export the Parametric Diagram you right-clicked in Step 1, the Constraint Parameter will be exported.
