TellMe utility - browser tab (TellMe utility)
The Browser tab of the TellMe utility allows you to navigate around the objects in a model by exposing the automation interface associations and attributes of those objects.

The Browser tab has the following controls.
Browser pane - Shows the top object and each of the top object's associations (a folder for each). You can expand an association folder to view objects that are linked through that association. In turn, you can expand those objects to view their association types.
You can right-click an object and perform the following operations:
Make the object the top object in the Browser pane (Select As Top command).
Copy the object's name or id to the Clipboard (Copy Name or Copy Id command).
View objects and their roles from which the object you right-clicked can be created (View Creation Roles command).
Export the count (a listing of the number of objects and stubs that are linked through each association) to an Excel spreadsheet or an HTML file (Export Counts menu commands). Note that the To Excel command is available only if Microsoft Excel is installed on your computer.

Select the object in Modeler (Select In Modeler menu commands).
Add an object to the Results or Results 2 pane in Modeler (Add to Results Pane 1 and Add to Results Pane 2 commands).
Open a diagram object in Modeler (Open in Modeler command).
Highlight associations that have a selected option flag set to true, such as associations that are creatable (Highlight Roles menu commands). For more information about the option flags, see Highlighting associations that have a selected option flag set to true (TellMe utility).
You can right-click an association folder and perform the following operations:
Copy the name of the association (Copy Property Name command).
Compare objects that are linked through the association (Compare Items command).
Highlight associations that have a selected option flag set to true, such as associations that are creatable (Highlight Roles menu commands). For more information about the option flags, see Highlighting associations that have a selected option flag set to true (TellMe utility).
Details pane - Shows details about the object or association that is selected in the Browser pane.
When an object is selected in the Browser pane, the Details pane lists each writeable and readable attribute of the selected object. To view an attribute value in a separate window, double-click it. You can right-click an attribute and perform the following operations:
Copy the attribute's name to the Clipboard (Copy Property Name)
Copy the attribute's value to the Clipboard (Copy Property Value). To view an attribute's value in a separate window, double-click the attribute.
Lists the attributes that are slow to populate and have been added to the Slow Properties list (Delay Reading). Clear to remove the attribute from the list.
Highlight attribute types that have a selected property flag set to true, such as attribute types that are derived (Highlight Properties menu commands). For more information about the property flags, see Highlighting attributes that have a selected property flag set to true (TellMe utility).
When an association folder is selected in the Browser pane, the Details pane lists the following information about the selected association:
The name and multiplicity of the association.
The number of objects and stubs that are linked through the association. To populate the values, expand the association folder in Browser tab.
The status of each option flag, that is, true, false or not applicable. For more information about the option flags, see Highlighting associations that have a selected option flag set to true (TellMe utility).
The item and diagram types that may be linked through the association.
Select button - opens a menu that allows you to select a top object in the Browser tab.
Refresh button - updates the information in the TellMe utility from Modeler, whilst keeping the same top object in the Browser pane.
Help button - opens this topic.
Keep On Top check box - keeps the TellMe utility on top of other Windows applications.
