Highlighting attributes that have a selected property flag set to true (TellMe utility)
When showing the attributes of an object in the details pane of the Browser tab, you can highlight attributes that have a selected property flag set to true, for example, those attributes that are derived.
To highlight attributes that have a selected property flag set to true:
1. In the Browser tab, select the object.
2. In the Details pane, right-click an entry, point to Highlight Properties, and then click the command associated with the required property flag.
None—Highlights no attributes.
Derived—Highlights attributes that are derived from other attributes or object associations.
Do Not Merge—This property flag is no longer used.
Hidden—Highlights attributes that are not visible in the Modeler user interface.
Observed—Highlights attributes that are observed, that is, when the attribute is changed the Model cache is updated and Modeler makes notification calls. If you are creating derived Tag Definitions from attributes, you should derive from observed attributes.
Private—Highlights attributes that are private. Private attributes do not appear in the Property Descriptors list, but they do appear in the All Property Descriptors; non-private attributes appear in both.
Provided Extension—Highlights attributes that are non-user added extensions that appear in the Text tab of an item's or diagram's property pages.
Slow—Highlights attributes that are slow to populate. If the attribute is already marked as delayed, it will not be highlighted.
Rich Text—Highlights attributes that are stored as rich text.
Tag Definition—Highlights attributes that are Tag Definitions.
User Added Extension—Highlights attributes that are created through Tag Definitions and through the previously provided custom properties.
In the Details pane, attributes that have the selected property flag set to true are highlighted.
To turn off highlighting of attributes:
In the Details pane, right-click an entry, point to Highlight Properties, and then click None.
