Showing or hiding stereotypes by default for new items on a diagram
1. Right-click the diagram background, and then click View Options.
2. Click the Stereotypes entry.
3. Select the check boxes associated with the item types for which you want to show Stereotypes by default.
4. Clear the check boxes associated with the item types for which you want to hide Stereotypes by default.

The diagram View Options affect only new items that are added to the diagram.
