Hiding all stereotypes on a diagram
There are two ways of hiding all Stereotypes on a diagram:
Make the diagram hide all Stereotypes associated with the items on the diagram
Set the View Options of all items on the diagram to not show Stereotypes.
To hide all Stereotypes through the Diagram Shown Stereotypes list:
1. Right-click the diagram background, and then click View Options.
2. Click the Shown Stereotypes entry.
3. Select all the Stereotypes in the list, and then click the Unlink button.
*
This method of hiding all Stereotypes on a diagram does not prevent the showing of Stereotypes that have been set up to be shown on all diagrams. Hide these Stereotypes through the View Options of the items that show them.
As an alternative to using the View Options, you can clear Shown Stereotypes through the Items tab of a diagram's Property Pages.
To hide all Stereotypes through item view options:
1. Select all items on the diagram.
*
To quickly select all items on the diagram, click an item on the diagram, and then on the Edit menu click Select All/
2. Right-click a selected item, and then click View Options.
3. Click the Stereotypes entry.
4. Clear the Show Stereotypes check box.
