Showing or hiding specific stereotypes and tag definitions on a diagram
1. Specify the Stereotypes you want to show or hide:
a. Right-click the diagram background, and then click View Options.
b. Click the Shown Stereotypes entry.
c. Click the Link button.
d. Select the check boxes associated with the Stereotypes you want to show.
e. Clear the check boxes associated with the Stereotypes you want to hide.
Note that if a Stereotype is set up to be shown on all diagrams, clearing its associated check box will not prevent the Stereotype from being shown on the diagram.
f. Click OK.
2. Specify the Tag Definitions you want to show or hide:
a. Right-click the diagram background, and then click View Options.
b. Click the Shown Tag Defs entry.
c. Click the Link button.
d. Select the check boxes associated with the Tag Definitions you want to show.
e. Clear the check boxes associated with the Tag Definitions you want to hide.
Note that if a Tag Definition is set up to be shown on all diagrams, clearing its associated check box will not prevent the Tag Definition from being shown on the diagram.
f. Click OK.

As an alternative to using the View Options, you can select and clear Shown Stereotypes and Shown Tag Defs through the Items tab of a diagram's Property Pages.
