Searching for items by type
You can search for items through their UML type, and you can search for items through the Stereotypes that are applied to them.
To search for items by type:
1. From the Find Model Items dialog, click the General tab.
2. From the Selected Types browser, expand the appropriate folder:
To search for UML items and diagrams, expand the Build-in Types folder.
To search for items through the Stereotypes that are applied to them, expand the profile Package that owns the Stereotype, or expand the Other Stereotypes folder to find Stereotypes that are not scoped to a profile Package.
3. Select the check boxes associated with the required item types.
To select the item types associated with a specific diagram type, select that diagram type in the Add By Diagram Type list.
To select all check boxes, click Select All.
To clear all check boxes, click Clear All.
To invert the selection of check boxes, click Invert.
4. Set other search options as required, and then click Find Now.

To find all object of a specific type, ensure that the Name box is empty.
