Working with the find toolbar
The Find toolbar allows you to perform searches with or without opening the Find dialogs.
To open the Find Model Items dialog
On the
Find toolbar, click
Find Objects.
To open the Find on Diagram dialog
On the
Find toolbar, click
Find on Diagram.
To find items without opening the Find Model Items dialog
1. On the Find toolbar, type or select the required text in the list box.
This text corresponds to the Name box in the Find Model Items dialog. The last 16 text entries are listed.
2. On the
Find toolbar, click
Execute Model Search.
The search is performed using the text you specified in the list box and the search options that were previously set in the Find Model Items dialog.
To find items on a diagram without opening the Find on Diagram dialog
1. On the Find toolbar, type or select the name of the item you are searching for in the list box.
2. On the
Find toolbar, click the
Execute Diagram Search button or
Find New Diagram Item button.
