Model Manager overview (Model Manager)
Model Manager is a web application with a streamlined user experience that allows users to login to a Modeler Server and perform common database and model management tasks on that Modeler Server. Executing tasks on the Modeler Server, instead of the Modeler Client, significantly improves performance of many operations.
• Perform common database management tasks, including starting, stopping, backing up, and upgrading databases.
• Perform common database maintenance tasks, including optimizing and synchronizing a database.
• Perform common model management tasks, including importing and exporting models, protecting and unprotecting models, cloning models, creating new versions and sandboxes of models, and updating profiles.
• Refresh OSLC Links and Surrogates.
• Schedule tasks.
Repository and model access permissions are respected when using Model Manager.
