Importing or exporting a component through the component Sharing Configuration Manager (Component Sharing Wizard)
1. Start the Component Sharing Configuration Manager (see Starting the component sharing configuration manager).
2. On the File menu, click New to create a new configuration file, or Open to open a previously defined configuration file.
Configuration files have a CWC extension.
3. If you want to change any of the options, set the options on each tab as required, and then on the File menu, click Save.
4. Click Run.
If the configuration file is set up to generate a log file, the log file is generated to your Windows temp folder. By default, the location of your Windows temp folder is as follows:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Temp
*
Tip: In Windows Explorer, you can quickly go to your Windows temp folder by typing %temp% in the Address box.
