1. From Modeler, open the Model you want to check in.
2. Set the access permissions for the Model and its Packages.
For more information about using Modeler access permissions with CM tool access rights, click here Controlling access in the Modeler and CM tool environments
3. Click the Packages pane.
4. If you want to set up your CM tool's integration options, on the Modeler Tools menu, click Configuration Management Options , and then set the options as required.
Note that your CM tool may not support this feature.
5. From the Packages pane, right-click the Model icon, point to Configuration Management, and then click Check In.
6. If you want to create a CM tool project to store the CM tool Model, change the default project name if required, select the project in which the new project will be created, and then click OK.
If you want to store the CM tool Model in an existing CM tool project that does not contain any Modeler Model or Packages, delete the text in the Project box, select the project in which you want to store the Model, and then click OK
Note If the dialog allows you to change the user name, ensure that you specify a valid user of the CM tool.
7. From the Check in Destination dialog, select the Check in Sub-packages check box.
8. If you want to immediately check out the Model, select the Keep Checked Out check box.
*
If you select the Keep Checked Out check box, the check in operation will be quicker.
9. Click OK
If you attempt to check in a diagram or sub-Package that is locked, Modeler abandons the check in operation and displays a message informing you who has the diagram or item locked. Typically a diagram will be locked because a user has the diagram open. Ask the user to close the diagram, and then repeat the check in operation.
10. If a message about setting rights in the CM tool is displayed, click OK
11. After checking in the Model, set up the access rights to the CM tool Model and Packages. For more information,
