Controlling the order of items in the variant selector
The order in which Variation Points and Variants are displayed in the Variant Selector is determined by the value of their Index property. The initial value for the Index property is 0.
To set the index value for a variation point or variant
1. In the Properties Pages for the Variation Point or Variant, select the Options tab.
2. Type the value in the Index box.
Where Variation Points are nested, they are further ordered within their Parent Variation Point.
Where duplicate Index values at the same level of the hierarchy, they are further ordered by Full Name.
